By car

In case of heavy traffic at the Brennerpass, we recommend the route via the Timmelsjoch or the Jaufenpass.

From Germany, take the A8 highway south towards Rosenheim. At the Inntal triangle, switch to the A93 towards Kufstein/Innsbruck. After crossing the Austrian border, the A93 becomes the A12 (Inntalautobahn). Follow the A12 to the Ötztal exit. Exit the highway at Ötztal and take the B186 south towards Sölden. In Sölden, follow the signs for the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road. This road is open from May to October and takes you over the Alps to the Italian border. After crossing the Timmelsjoch, drive down into the Passeier Valley. Follow the SS44 towards St. Leonhard in Passeier.

If you are coming from Germany, take the Brenner Autobahn and exit at STERZING. From Sterzing, drive over the Jaufenpass (2,100 m), which is always passable in spring, summer, and autumn, and in winter from 08:00 to 18:00. For information about winter accessibility, feel free to call us. If you prefer to avoid mountain passes, stay on the Brenner Autobahn until BOZEN SÜD, where you exit onto the MeBo expressway (Bozen-Meran). Exit at MERAN SÜD and follow the signs to the Jaufenpass/Timmelsjoch/Passeier Valley.

From Switzerland, take the main road through Val Venosta/Vinschgau or, from Bolzano, the Meran-Bolzano (MeBo) motorway to Meran. Take the Meran Süd exit and then follow the signs in the direction of Passo di Monte Giovo/Passo del Rombo/Val Passiria-Jaufenpass/Timmelsjoch/Passeiertal.

Upon arrival, you can park your car securely in our hotel’s underground car park. There is one free parking space in the underground car park per room at your disposal. For eco-friendly nature enthusiasts, your car can also enjoy a holiday as exciting exploration tours begin from our doorstep.
