Fast-paced tobogganing in Val Passiria/Passeiertal
Have you ever been tobogganing? The journey begins with a trek across the magical, snow-covered forest and meadow paths to the starting point and finishes with a rapid toboggan ride back down to the valley. And in between? A warm and invigorating stop in one of the many rustic mountain huts awaits you and your kids: a hearty “Brettljause” snack board, a mug of hot chocolate, a traditional apple strudel, or a hot apple cider – delicious! An exceptional experience is the moonlit tobogganing, with some huts staying open late into the night.

What about tobogganing fun in summer?
Absolutely! The “Alpin Bob” at the Merano/Meran 2000 skiing and hiking area makes it possible! Spanning 1.1km with its twists and turns, it’s Italy’s longest rail toboggan run.
Starting from the mountain station at a height of 1,900m, you’ll zoom all the way down into the valley. It’s truly magnificent!
